I heard an interesting discussion on some channel last night.
Did you know that they don't have to prove a motive, and they don't even have to prove HOW she was murdered, just that she was?

My guess would be that if they can show that she was in fact murdered and didn't die of natural causes and that Scot was the only one who had opportunity to commit the murder, that would be enough. I think that motive is going to be reall hard. He already made statements that Laci knew about the affair and that she was not happy, but that it was not going to break up their marriage. Unless that report that Laci had told her hair dresser that he was cheating and that she was going to leave him after Christmas, turns out to be true, I don't see any other motive, except that he is a sociopath.
