I don't feel the need for a zapper. I think my brother just likes to watch them fly in and hear the crackle. I suggested he could just wear Off when he sits outside, as I do. I mean, even with the zapper, the mosquitoes which haven't been zapped yet still bite.

Black flies sound horrible. But flying roaches are worse b/c they get into the HOUSE. Then they lie in wait in some venetian blind. You don't know they're there until you see that the cat has been staring intently at the venetian blind for an hour. Then the thing comes flying out. Somehow it always manages to aim straight for your face.
