Says Scott Peterson's mom: 'Before, we had hope'

Jackie Peterson, who has been a constant supporter of her son, told the Times on Saturday that she had talked to Scott a day earlier. This case has devastated the family, she said, and only got worse Friday.

"We're just mourning Scott's life right now," Peterson said. "It's too awful.

Scott's life????? What about Laci and Connor, murdered, dumped in the bay like trash.

Jackie Peterson wears blinders: she can only see Scott; everything is about him; he is never wrong or guilty; other people are at fault; the cops framed him; the media framed him; Laci pushed him too much - that's why he had affairs! Etc., etc., etc. The woman is clearly in need of psychiatric help... the apple never falls very far from the tree, does it?
