YIKES. I hadn't thought about that. Scott WAS employed in agriculture, and Gary Condit was on the House Ag Committee during a time when they were working on MAJOR farm legislation (the farm bill). In my farming-based city and area, just about EVERYONE involved in agriculture had contact with their congressman's office (who also served on the ag committee) during the 2-year process it took to draft and pass the bill.
