Just in case, let me tell you something I discovered. Sometimes I would drive along with the phone lying on the empty front-seat passenger seat next to me.

The phone got lost. I discovered that it had slipped down btw the front passenger seat, and the front passenger door. If you haven't checked there, I highly recommend it!

Thanks, like you, I leave it off too often, so couldn't call myself. Also, just bought a new car last week, so good idea, need to check with the dealer just in case. I did check around the car, but it could have slipped into some strange spot, never know.
