I'm thinking Scott had been trying to figure out for quite some time how to get out of being a husband and father, being "tied down" or "held back", so to speak, and one night the opportunity presented itself, in the form of an argument. I don't believe he killed her by accident, but in a fit of rage where he was mad enough to kill.

and remember that talk was that Snott was not as happy about the baby as Laci was...wasn't that a posted on the message board on the Laci Peterson site early on????

I agree, it was premeditated! He did not have enough time to make cement bucket anchors if he killed her by "accident" after a confrontation about the affair. I still say that she may never have known about his double life...if she knew , her family would have known!

I hope they have a speedy trial and that this doesn't stretch out for months and years. He's already claiming he's been framed. I think he framed himself pretty well (a do it yourself job!).
