The Modesto police must have some very interesting evidence given that when they changed the status, from missing to homicide, they said Laci was the victim of a violent crime. I would suppose that any crime that resulted in death would be considered violent, but I'm not sure they would have used that word without compelling evidence.

The second thing that just staggers me is that the monster apparently disposed of her body in broad daylight. I guess I don't want to think about that further given Baden's earlier remarks.

I don't remember what talk show I heard this on, but they ( I don't even remember who ), I was on an important phone call at the time, but they said it was leaked that vomit was found on the mop in their home , which leads them to believe it was possible she was punched in the stomach to cause that reaction.
