KGO is reporting that Scott Peterson was arrested in the parking lot of the Torrey Pines Golf Club. He was in a black sports car. He is being flown back to the Bay Area.

I live in California. I don't see where they could get a jury here. Waaaaaaaaay to much publicity in this case. They can't go to San Diego area, because of him being down there, it has been huge on the news. Maybe the eastern desert palm springs area, with a bunch of seniors more interested in Indian Gaming than the news.

I can never serve on a jury. Too many relatives in law enforcement. Oh well, this one would have been good to be on.

You obviously are a caring person.. I know others who have had to suffer the same fate. I agree...his mom is not only an enabler, but she seems to be a bit off.. In one article I read, she claims that peopel kept throwing witches ashes in her sons yard..or her yard. I forget which..don't quote me.

Sounds like Scotty boy was trying to scoot off to Mexico.

I'm sure he was being tailed. Wouldn't have made it, IMO, but would have helped their case (trying to flee = sign of guilt). I wonder what his motive was? They were young, attractive, nice families, child on the way -- just getting started in life. What a shame.

I think they did that b/c it's not crucial that WE know the exact identity of the bodies the moment it is discovered--it's only crucial that THEY know the identity of the bodies!

Haha! He stole her favorite piece of jewelry that I bought her. She'll send his a$$ to free legal aid, if that. No way will she help him. I can't remember the exact words spoken to her by the judge when she was sworn in, but her 'uncle' will get no help from her. She has too much integrity, really. She got it from her mom, me. :)

I don't know if you saw it, but on Fox the first night after the find, they had the harbormaster of the Berkley marina on briefly. A map showed that the bodies washed up on SE and South facing shores. The harbormaster talked about wind and currents, and noted that an unusual - and strong - two days' of wind blew from the south the two days previous...implicitly explaning why the bodies washed up on those shores.

I hope the body wasn't in an area previously searched by the LE on boats (remember the anchor found)? The Levys already went through that incompetent search strife with their daughter.

If they found the cement blocks and they have the molds, they could prove the blocks were made from that mold. I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that leg bones were used (muscle & bone marrow)from both the mother & baby.

Forensic guy on CNN just said they had used tibula from mother.
