I don't believe for a minute this death came during the heat of passion. This has pre-med written all over it. He never went fishing up there. He studied the currents of where she was dumped. She was cemented down and put under water. The baby was also found a mile away, which makes me wonder if the baby was born before she died, or whether he was cut out before he put her under water.
Even if they can't determine pre-med, they won't have any trouble establishing viability of the baby at 8 months. That will be two homicides which will make him eligible for the death penalty here in California.

I cannot imagine what horror befell this poor girl before she was killed. The worst horror of all for her must have been the knowledge that her child would not live either. I'm usually pretty morbidly curious to learn the details of cases (what happened on the front steps of Nicole Brown's house, what happened between Gary Condit and Chandra Levy, etc.), but for some reason, I HOPE I NEVER FIND OUT what happened between this evil, hell-bound husband and his poor, dead wife and child in the hours before their deaths.

They must have connected something of his with the murder. It has to be beyond just that it was Laci and her baby son. I agree; the police have been "holding back" with info....which connects something with their finding the bodies of the mother and child to SP.

"
Police believe he dumped her in the Bay and secured her with concrete blocks, hooks and fishing line."Hummm...wonder if they BELIEVE he secured her this way or they have EVIDENCE of it?

I'll tell you this. I've seen people post, who thought DW was innocent, and think SP is guilty. Actually, if I recall correctly, the most that I've seen said about his looks relates to the fact that he smiled too much during the press conferences, showed little remorse, acted weird..didn't support her family or look them in the eyes. That was my take too.. he acted weird.. He behaved like DW did when DW was standing on the street, worried about his bald head being on camera while talking to reporters.

Scott (if he indeed did it)is more evil. Yeah, that was my thought also. It may be different if it turns out he and his wife got in an argument and he went overboard and accidently killed her. But otherwise, this dude is one sick puppy.
To: Crispy
What evidence is there that he did this? Some of you are sure quick to judge. The police took a long time to arrest him, obviously they have SOME evidence or they wouldn't have arrested him!

kcvl, you weren't around earlier today were you? Here are some links to some stuff over on courttv about JP and the family.
These links just go straight to the posts I made earlier, but then you can click on the links there. The courttv forum is slow right now, at least on this old computer I'm on, so maybe you can get through better if you just use the fr posts. It explains a lot, especially that first post, about what might be going on with the P family.
