I cannot imagine why he thought "fishing on CHRISTMAS EVE", would ever be a plausible story. Fishing on the 26th, MAYBE, but not Christmas eve! He is an absolute fool, who got caught. Let's hope he will be convicted.

Brace yourselves for the endless procession of unemployed lawyers spewing "There's no proof here" and "Wait! How do we know she didn't dismember herself". No. His defense will say that it was an accident and that he panicked and then hid the body.
It won't work, but they will try and possibly seed enough doubt to save him from the death penalty.

I both appreciate and respect your insight. I wasn't reacting to this news from a logical position rather pure emotions.
This cuts deeper with me . . . when a woman gives her heart to a man and provides the greatest act of love to bear him a son, only to get murdered by him (again, to be proven first in court). . .I have a woman like her in my life. Thank God. So it is different relating to sociopaths whose victims would never have trusted them.
Thanks again for your insight and thank God you are alive today to share it.

He belongs in the axis of evil! Let this be a lesson to all of us,
It's not looks, it's character.
Scott was able to rope this beautiful girl
into his life, because he had that "Clinton"
charm, kind-of good-looking and charismatic.

News was that the head and legs could have come off in the water. If he had strangled her, and broken her spine, the head could have come off in the water. If she had concrete shoes, the legs could have come off somehow. I'm not sure how this all played out because my memory doesn't always allow me to remember the details well but this was the crux of it. It's better somehow than thinking he cut them off himself (brrhhhhhhh).

Hello Scott, this is your new cellmate Tyrone LOL. You forgot to mention that Tyrone weighs 350 pounds.

Greta was already on with John Gibson. I bet she knew it then. She said that Scott's attorney was going to have a problem on his hands (paraphrasing, of course).

Rita said he was arrested for the murder of his wife.

Body weighted down with cement anchors per police. If true, bay side LE over the past few days must have gone over the sea floor near the discovery site. Different than the place searched before???

She was so beautiful. That's it: a beauty. Not just a pretty face, but a kind of joy and wonderment and goodness.

Police said they would hold a 6 p.m. news conference on the development, which they would not immediately disclose.

You are some fast typists.
Bout time - don't ya think.
Hopefully I'm not lumped in with the fruitcakes from the old Westerfield threads - though I was not totally convinced of his guilt at the time of trial. Since then - with the things that have come out - I'm convinced he did it - I still wonder just how. Anyway - I think this case seems really different than that one. I don't think Scott could have acted any more guilty.

No... That's Scott Ritter. That's too bad, he was really good on Three's Company.
