You haven't answered my question, so I'll just go ahead and say that you're not going to convince me not to be a Catholic. I looked at Protestantism before I became a Catholic and rejected it for reasons I won't go into here. Suffice to say it didn't make a lot of sense to me from a theological standpoint.
