I think Ann Coulter made a stronger argument!

Did anybody else think the headline makes it sound like our government has plans to proselytize? I'm thinking of how it fails to mention whose plans they are, and the use of the term "the enemy" as opposed to say, "Iraqis".
I'm thinking the headline writer wanted to make it look like we were embarked on a new crusade.

Saddam gave Bush a pretext to establish a large presence right smack in the middle of the murderous, anti-American, Moslem Middle East. After having spilled American blood to do so, why should we refrain from promoting Christianity and the Gospel of peace? Because it might make 'me mad? They were already mad! See; "Jihad".

But, how can Pat Buchanan blame the J-E-W-S for this?

You know, if the lazy, no good French had bothered to do this centuries ago we wouldn't be in this mess. Perhaps Holy Mother Rome should take an active interest in this effort to make sure the protestants don't get out of hand, like they are often want to do.

America is GREAT because America is GOOD. When America ceases to be GOOD, it will no longer be GREAT. America's GOODNESS comes from our Christian worldview. Period. We are the GREATEST country on earth because we are the most Christian. There is no reasonable alternative cause.

I have no problem with this. These are private organizations and can do what they want. I see no reason why the Iraqis should not be allowed to be converted to the religion of their choice and worship the God or gods of their choice. Just like we have in this country.

From a practical point we stand to benefit from their embracing a more Judeo-Christian value system. Additionally, we (the Christian west) must demonstrate that we are willing to counter Islam's militant expansion in a quid pro quo exercise. When the Wahabi's realize that their activities are costing converts and Islam is shrinking they may change their tune.

Is this how the Christians show the "tollerance" they have of other cultures and their religions?
This is a perfect example of what turned me away from Christianity in the first place.
People who practice tollerance accept their neighbors as they are for who they are regardless of their faith and the dont try to convert them to their way of faith at every chance they get. Christtans are just as bad as those damn Jehova Witnesses that come around knockin..

When people ask you, you explain that it's because of the love of God that has been poured out into my life and I have a deep desire that you know that same love as well. And you should know it by my traditions, not yours.

Any Christians entering these lands should be mighty careful.
The mullahs of the religion of peace, go about packing pistols and knives.

Personally, I think that our military action in Iraq, and I pretty sure soon to be elsewhere, will open up the region to missionaries in a way that it has not been opened before. Think of Russia and other eastern block nations after the fall of the wall and communism in that area. God has said that His message will be told to the entire world, and I doubt He was messin' around.
The time is soon.

Plans Under Way for Christianizing the EnemyI thought Saddam (and his regime) was the enemy, not the Iraqi people. Bad headline.
