You left out the part where he passed below the yellow line which sends everyone else down a lap. But the one that got me was when he won the race his dad died in. His car blew by everyone everytime he needed to then he would slow down to keep from lapping everyone.
It was so obvious and I lost a lot of respect.
I love NASCAR because of the invocation and the strong pro america stance but they will probaly blow it. I can live with them giving a advantage to one make of car now and then. That has been going on for some time and they cant get it perfect. Real strange how when they put restrictor plates on all the carbs DEI blows everyone away.

Forgot about the yellow line and didn't think of the Daytona victory (as you say, blatant) until after I posted.
Don't forget Jeff Gordon's "troubles" of late, now that he's "tainted" by divorce. He's won, what, one or two races since that news came out?
And how else can you explain hot young newcomers that are "energizing" the sport? (Kurt Busch, Jimmy Johnson, Kevin Harvick, etc, all of whom are in the top ten of points right now).
