Case in point Jefferson City, Missouri: Capitol Plaza Hotel, news stuck on CNN and no Fox. I complained daily about how I missed my FOX and how I hated having CNN forced down my throat. The concierge replied that "the Governor (Holden, a Democrat) had mandated the change! I replied that last time I checked the "Governor" wasn't the one paying my hotel bill, and if they ever wanted to have my business or my company's business ever again, FOX better be available 24/7 and pronto! ALso planted a bug in their ear about possible criminal FCC violations by "his nibs" if this were indeed true! Wow... way to go!

My dad was in the hospital a few weeks ago and was pretty ill (doing o.k. now...he has 9 lives)but it was serious enough for my sister to fly from Las Vegas to Boston to visit w/him because we weren't sure he'd make it through this one. Anyways, we spent the whole week at the hospital forced to watch CNN. I usually took my dad's volume control and turned it all the way down. That way we could watch what was going on but didn't have to watch Judy WoofWoof. No FOX at this hospital. I hope I don't end up there (knock on wood) because there is gonna be some stink!. I did make my Mom laugh a lot by blowing kisses at my George W. everytime I saw him. My Dad is a George too. That's my Fox vs. CNN story of late.
By the end of his hospital stay, my sister was convinced that we had turned Mom and Dad around to accepting this war and even thinking differently of Georgie. Poor folks..they don't have cable and my Mom watches KK, etc. every morning.
