Sorry, but this is just an excuse. I'm telling you: the Israelis don't WANT to capture Arafat, and they don't WANT him dead. He is more useful to them alive, as a focus of hate for the Israeli public and Israel-Firsters here in the U.S.

CLINTON is the guy who was buddy-buddy with Arafat. Bush has largely ignored him.

I guess you don't remember the many times the US State Dept. went out and said that Israel should "restrain" herself. I remember much of that was said when Israel surronded his compound in Ramallah.

Israel does not target civilians, it targets terrorists. Most of the civilian deaths occur because they are used as human shields by the terrorists. The terrorists also operate within their areas.
