movie was actually called "falling down"
To: TC Rider
OK. In other words, you are relying on the bomber's operational ineptitude.

Ahh... Just a dissatisfied customer. This one looks to be home grown then.

USC is the home of Tim Salmon, Mark McGuire, Keyshawn Johnson, to name a few sports greats.

You mean "Falling Down"

Or else he's one of those who neglect to notice the One at this price disclaimer in the ad!

I dont know..I used to date a guy (early 90's - the decade, not his age!) who was a student there. He hated it. He was a Orange County rich kid / conservative family and he shared an apartment next to the campus. Any California Freepers who know the area will tell you that USC is in a crap area (beautiful campus btw)..that and the fact that there is a BIG lib student base there (or used to be anyway)...he could not wait to graduate.

So people should start blazing away at everyone whose clothing seems a little bit too bulky? Well here's someone who is a whole lot too bulky:
And given his history of lying, I don't know that we could take him at his word that he was not attached to a bomb...

Yeah, funny how the rate of posts on this thread instantly collapsed after that was posted; the crowd of people hoping for Muslim terror attacks in the US instantly left.

Is that a detonator in your pocket or are you happy to see me?
What are the chances he is going to find virgins at USC?
To: weegee
His next movie may qualify.

" ... OK, I've sized up the situation. There's a guy in a jacket, and he just put his hand into a pocket.
So I'm supposed to cap anyone fitting those criteria?"
So you used your little pea brain, sized up the situation, and decided that you should shoot everyone who puts his hand in his pocket. I suppose you like jail. You definitely need help.

It seems like it was a hoax, not a false alarm. Hoax means that the threat was made. False alarm implies no truth to the story.
The threat has subsided though.

You're right, it was Falling Down. I think there was another movie Breaking Out about Alcatraz.
