We can win a lot of the high profile races -- if our candidate recruitment efforts pay off. Bush was enormously successful in recruiting winners in 2001-02, when everyone said it wouldn't work given mid-term history.
We need Giuliani in New York, Thune in South Dakota, and Schwartzenagger in California.

I'd be shocked in Schumer gets knocked off. Shocked. Even by Giuliani, who I believe won't enter the race.
Schumer already has $15 million in the bank, and is highly revered in most circles- i.e. NY Times, all other lib newspapers, and is not nearly as controversial (on the surface) as Hillary. Controversial being a relative term- his disgraceful behavior during the Estrada nomination doesn't play nearly as badly here in NY.
