Rendell Plan Hikes Taxes For Most Of Delco

I may cheer for the same Philadelphia football team and eat the same cheese steaks, but when it comes to how we tax Pennsylvania residents, Gov. Ed Rendell and I differ.

Many of you may be aware of the recent articles in the papers concerning Gov. Rendell's "Plan for a New Pennsylvania" that paint the picture of increasing the state income tax and decreasing the property tax dollar-for-dollar. However, that is not necessarily the case for most of Delaware County, and I just want people to understand what the tax proposal is and how it will affect them and their school districts.

If you want to see just how badly you will be screwed by Rendell and his cronies go here:

How Rendell will screw the working class (unless you live or work in Philadelphia)

Try inputting your income and school district to see how your income tax will increase. Then choose Philadelphia as your district and note the difference!
