"Damn the delays - let's give him a fair trial and then hang him!" -Judge Roy BeanThe Life And Times of Judge Roy Bean - one of the greatest Westerns ever made. My grandma took me to see it at the drive in when I was a wee lad, and I was hooked. My favorite was the Watch Bear - that stinking drunk alcoholic grizzly.
I'd post my thoughts on dealing with Arafat and his ilk, but I do not wish to be banned from the forum. >:-D

Ironically, Paul Adams is the BBC reporter who complained that the BBC was too negative (regarding the coalition) in their coverage of the war.

Interesting. I didn't know that.
To: shhrubbery!
LOL! I didn't either till five minutes ago when I started trying to google up some more dirt on him ;-)

Yes. I was flabbergasted at the ignorance and/or arrogance of that question -- even more than I usually am at the questions from that crowd. It was posed by Paul Adams of the BBC.
See post #8 for the actual wording from the transcript. It is even more outrageous than I'd remembered.

Today, at a time when Arafat is under unprecedented pressure from Palestinian reformers and the U.S., Abbas could be the one to break Arafat's hold on power if he turns state's evidence with what he knows about terrorism, corruption and deals with Hussein. Do the positive outcomes of this war never cease? Oppressed people freed, terror dealt a possible death blow, US gets a free base in Iraq to replace the very costly one in Saudi, Democratic Party, having positioned itself to lose if war went well, loses, France loses, everyone who opposed US loses, Kim-Jong Il is hiding somewhere in Pyongyang, no, he's cowering, OPEC's building in Vienna is for sale, price of crude plummeting, Dow futures soaring.....and now.....Arafat could go down?
I can't take it, I just can't take any more of this.

I am SO glad they caught this man. What happened to Leon Klinghoffer was one of the cruelest things I'd ever heard of; it bothered me for ages, like the Daniel Pearl incident. Even if he did it 70 years ago and nothing else, he should be severely punished. I do hope through him they find more evidence on Arafat. They are a bunch of cold-blooded psychopaths and should be put down like the rabid dogs they are.
I always felt so bad for the Klinghoffer family. What a horrible thing to happen to your father or husband or grand-dad of which he probably was all these things and more. Some crimes such as these you never forget.
