This idiot had the "Gaul" to say that the name Mecca is two-fold: "Not only for Mecca as in the city, but that Mecca was also a name of an AMERICAN INDIAN TRIBE WIPED OUT BY THE EUROPEAN SETTLERS". I wish I had an actual transcript or link to provide, but I was too busy taking off my shoe and striking the TV screen once this inane comment was uttered.
They were, of course, not wiped out by any settlers but have thrived in the Pacific Northwest. There are certainly more of them now than there ever were before the evil white man came.
They've made the news recently, pissing off environmentalists by reviving their traditional whale hunts.
