Worth a WOD bump.
Another front in the WOD, harking back to the golden age of Prohibition (1920-1933), coming soon to a tavern near you, courtesy of the harpies at MADD.

Why do people think that they can control me?
OTOH, why do we allow ourselves to be controlled?
Bah! I can't get high, let me get drunk at least.
DISCLAIMER: For the record, I have never used drugs and do not drink.

Let's don't be too hasty about prohibition. My family did pretty good during prohibition down there in Tennessee. My great-uncle ran the still and my granddaddy ran the whiskey from Hickman county into Nashville in his Essex convertible with my mom and aunt sitting on top of the boxes. Worked great, very capitalistic, very pro-freedom. Good whiskey too, by all reports. Strange as it may seem, my Granny gave my grandfater hell about making homebrew in the basement but not about being a bootlegger. Go figure. My cousins were still running whiskey until the late fifties when it became unprofitable and they switched to stock car racing to have their fun.
