THERE'S NOTHING like Lloyd Grove in the Washington Post to get your heart started gossipwise these mornings. Just as the New York Post was printing a story on the emergence of three movies using press agents as their chief protagonists, Lloyd writes about how much Iraq's Information Minister Mohammed Saeed Sahhaf is now missed.
The minister was the biggest press agent, p.r. machine, spinmeister of the 21st century. While our soldiers and Marines beat the heck out of Saddam's legions, the minister would announce that we were dying like flies, being beaten back and insist that Saddam was winning the war.
Democratic operative Dale Leibach told Lloyd, "We need to bring him over here to practice his amazing public relations skills. He has taken our profession, such as it is, to a level that is as inexplicable as it is humbling. I would hire him in a nanosecond ... this is a p.r. guy who might give new meaning to 'knowing how to take a bullet' for a client. Literally."
So maestro Sahhaf - wherever you have escaped to in Syria or elsewhere - you have a p.r. future.

The Democrats have no shame, no pride in America. They are despicable.

I'm sure they consider this guy a thing of beauty. He out-Clintons the Clintons.

The guy felt comfortable saying that stupid stuff because as a rule (that is increasingly not being followed) when a Rat says something stupid he wouldn't be identified as a Rat in the news article.
You would see "Right Winger", "GOP leader", or "Republican party member" but you would never see "extreme leftist" or "Democratic party member.

What is the Iraqi word for "is" and does Baghbad Bob know what it means?
To: I_Love_My_Husband
Liz is late with her article. The American Baathist Party, aka the Rats have hired Baghdad Bob. He has appeared on CNN the official tv network of terrorists and the Baathist Party in his new role.

Iraqi refugees: Al-Sahaf committed suicide 15-04-2003, 11:46
Iraqi refugees who have taken shelter at Iraq's borders near the Iranian town of Dehloran over the week have claimed that Information Minister Saeed al-Sahaf had committed suicide, the Iranian newspaper, Mardomsalari reported Tuesday. A similar report was published in Iran's Arabic newspaper, Al Wifaq. According to these reports, al-Sahaf hanged himself a few hours before Baghdad fell to US forces on April 9th. The refugees gave no source to confirm their claim. In his press briefing on Monday, White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, said the US government believed former Iraqi leaders, including deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz and al-Sahaf, may be hiding in Syria.

The DEMs already have a guy on their payroll that spouts loud disinformation on national TV: James Carville!
On the other hand, I could also name Tom Daschle, Nancy Pelosi, Paul Begala, Terry McAuliffe, etc...
