Hurl. Isn't it interesting to note that homosexuals seem to go through many different "partners", pretending to be married to them, much more than heterosexuals? Does anyone have any statistics on the length of homosexual relationships vs. heterosexual ones? I'm not talking dating here, I'm talking married/living together.

I have no stats, but I do know they tend to lickety split up more often.

Ever heard of Elizabeth Taylor? Celebrities in general seem to be prone to the multiple serial marriages syndrome. It garners more publicity than just announcements of "dating". J-Lo's ex-husband's public advice to her new husband was illustrative of how serious these types take marriage. J-Lo will probably top Liz Taylor's record. Maybe Cher's too, who holds the current celebrity record for marital briefneess at 9 days with Gregg Allman.

I don't know any studies, but I'll bet you that actually homosexuals who do life ceremonies, or whatever you call it, do stay together longer. I know quite a few.
