Show me a few examples where prices were lowered when companies made more profit. The only time most companies lower prices for a short period of time, is when they are trying to put competitors out of business. Then, prices go up to recover "losses". The "benevolence" of the corporate world is at best a myth. And, After godgov gets what they want from their "partners" in the private sector, they WILL take control of them.
