How about the war between the Confederate States of America and the united States of America? That's what it actually was, though I don't expect you to acknowledge real history.

The Confederate States did not have a legal right to exist.

How about the war between the Confederate States of America and the united States of America?

The problem I have is that the confederate states did not exist as an independent, sovereign nation and the United States did. But we can call it Jeff Davis's War if you like. I don't mind that one either.
