Blah blah blah. Jeff Davis was about as much of a socialist as Thomas Jefferson. You will say just about anything to prove your preposterous positions.

The fact is, lincoln the tyrant was the closest thing to a socialist president America has ever had. You are in complete denial but that is not uncommon with war criminal apologists.

Jefferson wouldn't have seized a percentage of all agricultural output without compensation, justifying as 'for the war effort'. Jefferson wouldn't have required that every commercial blockade runner reserve a large percentage for government cargo without adequate compensation even though the ship owner took all the risk, justifying as 'for the war effort'. Jefferson wouldn't have impressed slave labor at will without compensation, justifying as 'for the war effort'. Jefferson wouldn't have extended enlistments, jailed opponents without trial, censored newspapers, implemented a system requiring every citizen, black or white, to get approval from the local military commander just to travel from one town to another. Lincoln was a tyrant? Please! Toss in the fact that he made sure that he ran unapposed and ignored his constitution at will and it's clear. Tyranny thy name is Jefferson Davis.

You are in complete denial but that is not uncommon with war criminal apologists.

Sorry? Who is apologizing for which tyrant here?
