[history]
The Defense Department has no plan to rescind its invitation to the Rev. Franklin Graham to speak at Good Friday services at the Pentagon, despite Muslim concerns over the evangelist's labeling of Islam as "a very evil and wicked religion."

Perhaps Mr. Hooper has a future in Hollywood. Their fanatics can dish it out but can't take it either.

I'm so proud!
This is a great article, thanks for posting it! My favorite points in addition to the fact that the invitation won't be recinded:
- Christians of various denominations are about 98 percent of incoming troops who declare a religious preference, according to a 1999 study.
- He refused to retract those remarks, and in response to demands for an apology said: "How come the Muslim clerics haven't gone to ground zero and had a prayer vigil and apologized to the nation in the name of Islam?"
- Speaking of Mr. Graham, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson and the Rev. Jerry Falwell, Ayatollah Shabestari said last year: "In our opinion, to kill these three is necessary."
This country must be doing something right!

> "This action would only bolster suspicions in the Islamic world that the war on terrorism and the war on Iraq is really an attack on Islam," Mr. Hooper said. "We can all guess what the reception would be for a religious leader who said that Christianity is evil or Judaism is evil or any other religion is evil."
You don't have to guess Mr. Hooper since that is your own religion which has made those statements. "Oh God kill the Christians and Jews." Sound familiar? It should because its the staple of Friday prayers in your mosques.

What happened to General Abazaid (sp), appointed to be Tommy Franks deputy commander and widely thought to be a shoe-in for Director of the Interim Administration or Iraq.
He's a personal favoriet of Rumsfeld. He's an Arab and gave a really heads up Centcom briefing on day two or three of the war...and then disappeared.
Anyone seen hide or hair of him lately? He looked to be a top notch choice....

Mission:The American Islamic Congress (AIC) is a social organization that is dedicated to building interfaith and interethnic understanding. Our organization grew out of the ashes of September 11. The vicious terrorist attacks made many American Muslims realize that we had been silent for too long in the face of Muslim extremism. We believe American Muslims must take the lead in building tolerance and fostering a respect for human rights and social justice. We have a responsibility to help our country rebuild from this attack, and to our religion to reassert that we are moderate and peace-loving people. The American Islamic Congress |

I really, really object to Muslims coming into America and trying to change our way of life. It is the American way, and we do not accept the Islamic Dark Ages way of life and savagery. The US Department of Immigrations has inflicted something upon us that is beyond our toleration, and it is evil besides. Muslims have no right to interfere with the way that others live in this country. I strongly object.

France may of seen the light too...I hope we wake up before Islam can take over America!.....
.........
France's interior minister threatened today to expel any Muslim religious leader considered extremist after a fundamentalist Muslim organization unexpectedly won a large number of seats in an election for the country's first national council of Muslims.

" "You had three people who sat down in a meeting with the deputy chaplain and said, 'As Muslims, we're concerned,' "
3 people???? Representing the US Armed Forces???
" "How come the Muslim clerics haven't gone to ground zero and had a prayer vigil and apologized to the nation in the name of Islam?""
We are STILL waiting for Islam leaders to speak out about the 'incident'..... but noooooo..........
" "When people say [Islam] is a peaceful religion, don't tell me that. When a suicide bomber straps on a bomb, that's not a peaceful person. The Baptists are not doing that. Neither are the Pentecostals."
Yup...... good point.
" Christians of various denominations are about 98 percent of incoming troops who declare a religious preference"
Well, in OUR democracy we do protect the rights of the minority, but....... I think 98% should be representeted.
