Conservative women are seemingly extinct here, or I'm in the wrong circle of friends...from the feminist-types I keep running into, I'm starting to seriously consider whether I want to put myself through that kind of torture or whether I'll enjoy life more staying single. Guys, umm, dating is supposed to be a screening process, right? If you don't want gals who aren't feminine don't ask them out. Long hair and long skirts are generally good indications.

If a gal is conservative, she's not going to mind you being conservative, too. If she has a problem with it, don't pursue. Just save yourself some misery and don't. One date won't kill you.

As for materialism - okay, we conservative gals like our trinkets and baubles, but more of the pearl variety. Classically elegant. Just look for that.

BTW, keep in mind that women who make an effort to look good will make efforts in other areas. And if she doesn't "put out" your chances of catching a social disease decrease.

There's possitives in all this. And if she's in favor of higher taxes for the "rich" run like the wind.

A rich conservative man is forgiven all bias by liberal women. There are too many conservative beautiful women to date with fear. I find when I am myself, without any bogus tap dancing I have no problemsn. To hide is to allow the thought police to win. Face it, liberal women will always be mentally "damaged" goods until repaired.

I went through 9 years as a divorced male - it's a long story and I wont bore you with it other than to say that one thing I discovered after my wife left me is that there are a lot of divorced folks out there who are somewhere out in la-la land as far as both how they relate to God and how they relate to others.

I finally found my wife in the church choir to which she and I both belonged. You can't imagine how many problems that solved immediately for both of us - we married about 10 months later. It can be done!

I liked this article. Number 2 really hit home. I have been blindsided by women's sick ideas of what constitutes normal sex in recent years. By the way, I haven't been a prude in the past: in my USMC days I made a point of hitting on every girl I met. (I'm not saying it was right, I'm just saying it was).

However, I was interested only in women. No men, not ever, not even after my discharge. I don't want to wait outside bars to beat up homosexuals, but I sure as hell don't want to get into the lifestyle, not even once. So, it came to a shock to find out that a woman I was seeing was perfectly OK with her last boyfriend having seen another man on the side. What kind of sick female would go for that? Even without AIDS, it's disgusting. So, frankly, I'm a bit soured on women these days. I'd date women in their thirties, but most of those who are single have mental problems.

I've never been able to hide the fact that I'm conservative for very long, so I don't try. I've actually found that women who see themeselves as intellectuals, even if they are left-wingers, still like someone who will argue with them. A couple of weeks ago I argued about the war with a lady who was a friend of a friend for 3 hours in a lounge. We're talking way left-wing. When we each left she stated that next time, we were going to argue tax policy, and she was buying the beer.
