You should check out the DUmmies crying about this.

"What is going on? One of the last avenues to truth has now been blocked!", sobbed one loyal CROSSFIRE viewer.

The idea that someone thought of CROSSFIRE as an "avenue to truth" is so Baghdad Bobish. Those DUmmies are so hilarious.

I have a friend who must be a soulmate with those who thought Crossfire was an avenue to truth---one day he told me he wasn't going to watch war news on television, he was just going to get his updates from NPR and that would be sufficient!

Am I the only one who recognizes the irony here? The DUckheads laud Crossfire as an "avenue to truth," which is to say a left-wing program; but CNN claims it presents both sides. The DUckheads are implicitly admitting that CNN is stacking the deck for Carville and Begala.

To tell the truth, if I cared one way or the other about Crossfire, which I don't, I wouldn't want to get rid of Carville and Begala. Rather, I'd want to get rid of embittered, senile, antiwar Novak and wimpy, bowtied Carlson and put on some Republicans who had a pair. But it's CNN in charge, so of course that won't happen. Personally, I'd like to see Sean Hannity and Heather Nauert. (Heather made mincemeat out of Carville in a one-on-one debate in 2000).
