They were the New Yardbirds for barely two months. Only because the old Yardbirds had some concert commitments that had to be met.

I wouldn't necessarily give it much expectation, but the Yardbirds are putting out a new album next Tuesday (I think 2 original members with Jeff Beck sitting in on 1 track). Half new stuff, half old.
