Pingus ad orcae schismaticae.

The CWL usually does good work at the parish level (think of it as a national network of ladies' parish auxiliaries) and most members, like my mother, take little notice of the national leadership's doings.

Unfortunately, this is going to stick to all the CWL branches in Canada unless they cut ties to headquarters.

Anyway, you can freep the crazy Church Ladies at national@cwl.ca or on their toll-free line, 1-888-656-4040.

CWL sounds like our Altar and Rosary Society without the politics? Good luck resolving this up there. This is the same reason I won't belong to national nurses' organizations. The leadership take it upon themselves to promote policy and speak for all the members.
