Thanks. I must say Hobsonphile was very vigorously waiving her American flag at them. Those leftists did NOT like that!

It was an interesting flag: a lot of the Vietnamese-American community came out to our DC rally Saturday with signs to say that they also celebrated the liberation of the Iraqi people and that Americans had before given their lives to try to free the Vietnamese and they were grateful. They brought paper flags that the American flag on one side and the Vietnamese flag on the other. They were just the *nicest* people, too. Hobsonphile waived one of those flags at the protestors. Because it was paper and it was windy, I'm afraid the flag ripped, so she lost that lovely souvenier in the crowd.

It's great to see American citizens of Vietnamese descent out on the mall with us supporting our troops. People who know how precious and expensive freedom is.

Is it mentioned anywhere that the Vietnamese guy with the beautiful South Vietnamese flag patches ONLY gave one to Hobsonphile? He said, "For your backback." Humph.
