It gets better out here in California. The SF Chronicle article this morning has the highest vote getter in a recall of our great Gov. Davis as...Cruz Bustamante, our illegal alien Lt. Gov!

LOL. Yeah, I guess Hispanics don't need to be a citizen of the U.S. (or even LEGAL) to run for pubic office these days. Makes me wonder what other laws can be safely ignored in America? Maybe we should sub-contract out ALL OUR POLITICAL OFFICES to Mexican Nationals seeing how they seem to know what's best for us.

Well it keeps on getting better out here in IL too. Our State House by a vote of 112-4 recently voted to allow "In-State" tuition rates for illegal aliens. Yes, the vote was 112-4 I kid you not and my "Republican" State Rep was in that lopsided majority. What do the think the chances are that it passes the IL Senate? One of the proponents of the bill sheepishly said he thought it was a good idea because, well, "we educate undocumented immigrants all the way through high school so why not college”?

It's no wonder that IL is seeing a huge influx of illegal immigration. We are as Illegal Alien friendly as any state in the union. Meanwhile our trusting GOP, those vanguards of low taxes and the rule of law are saying through their actions: Just Shut Up and Pay Your Taxes or a Democrat may do this to you!

I died of laughter after seeing that. That's how bad off the Republicans are in this state. Their top vote getter is Schwarzenegger, which is a joke.

Yes, things are getting more and more comical all the time.

And why IS that? Because everyone here KNOWS the real problem: illegal immigration. EVERYONE I talk to is aware that that's the real problem, but are terrified to talk about it for fear of being called "racist". And that goes double for the GOP: not a peep. Meek and terrified, like little children. How Pathetic.

Bump That. Even the notion of protecting our borders is considered “racist”. Our government might as well tell the world “Please Take Us Over”. Maybe they are.

"we educate undocumented immigrants all the way through high school so why not college”

That's hilarious! The reason we educate them (and it is we, not the politicians -- it's our money) is due to ONE Supreme Court decision: Plyler v. Doe. In other words, we are COMPELLED to, AGAINST our will!

You really got to hand it to Peter Schey and the MALDEF terroristas - they knew that if they got primary ed from the courts, they could push through secondary education by haranguing. One way or the other, chisel the money out of the gringos. And the Supreme Court says...you have no right to decide where your money goes! We will tell you! Judicial Tyranny. At least with the state legislators, you now have an issue to beat them up with.

Well, I have an idea - suppose next election we try to vote an illegal, maybe a Mexican citizen, living in Mexico, into a national office. Then we will see if our politicians think laws are to be broken. I'll bet you would see weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth in Washington if that happened.

We could always use the reason that we can't find a qualified American politician, and bring him/her in under the H1B program----

"Our government might as well tell the world “Please Take Us Over”. Maybe they are."

I think you have hit the nail on the head, my friend!

President Bush is NOT stupid. On the contrary, he knows exactly what he is doing. He is leading this country to a one world government... interim step being a united "western hemisphere". What do you think he and the other attendees at such "conferences" as Bilderberg and Bohemian Grove are discussing?.... They are discussing GLOBALIZATION and have been for years. They all assume it is enevivitable and good for America.

My own thoughts are that Globablization would be good for America if all the rest of the world thought and behaved towards individual freedoms as we historically have.... but they DON'T. And as it has been already shown in the recent United Nations activities, these other nations can easily vote down anything America proposses. Will our traditional values of Individual freedom last long in a Global Government? Or will all we have fought so long and hard for these last 230 years be distroyed by the power-hungry petty dictators of 3rd world nations who will out vote us in the end and turn the entire world into what they are now... a 3rd world. If you cringe at supporting the "half ??" of the USA who is poor with your tax dollars.... how will you like supporting the "90-something ?? percent" of the whole world who is poor with your hard earned taxed dollars? It will take more than 40% of your income to do so... it will take ALL of your income to do it!

I (reluctantly) voted for Bush in the election, kept my mouth shut about my fears so that there would be no chance these fears would cause someone else to not vote for Bush... and I will vote for him again. I have no choice.. the alternative (a liberal Dem.) is too horrible to think about. But the fears are coming true.

If Bush wanted to show his concern for Mexican-Americans and gain their support for the election, then he is smart enough to think of a way to show that concern toward the legal immigrants... for it is the legals who make invaluable contributions to a growing nation. (a great deal of the Cuban-American) population is tribute to that).

Is there not anyone who will lead this county towards a secure future for our grandchildren's freedom? Or do we just give in to Globalization and a One World Government as Bush already has?
