I can't tell if he was waving his hand or the tongue. Either way, it was inappropriate, and while a 3-day suspension might seem a little heavy-handed, it's not so bad. The idea about sending him to an alternative school--that's just nuts. That's terrible.

ANY punishment beyond the principal telling him, "Bubba, knock it off." (to quote a fondly remembered figure of my yoot.) is rediculous.Although the kid DID learn an important lesson about the perfidy of educrats.

I wonder if there have not been other instances with this kid.
My daughter's in sixth grade. Some of the boys in her grade are disgusting. There are no rules anymore, and too many parents just dismiss whatever the kids do.
"Feminism" is part of the problem, but the whole of the problem is a complete breakdown in societal morals.
