I use my "Assault Weapon" to shoot coyotes

Having a semi-auto lets me get 3 or 4 of the pack before they are out of range, otherwise I could only hit one.

Every one I can kill is one more cat or dog that doesn't get killed

I regularly use more than 10 shots - after the first shot they are running and usually over 150 yards away, they are hard to hit

You need to stop reading Sara Brady's press releases and read some of the great posts on this thread defending the Constitution.

It is amazing to me that so many members of Free Republic parrot the liberal spin on this issue. Freepers who have been here for years have no knowledge of the erosion of freedoms occuring in America.

Do you know what an "assault weapon" is? That's not meant to be a flame, but an honest question.

They do the same thing as any other firearm. They fire a projectile. Where the projectile goes depends on the shooter behind it.

BTW - If I want to go out and kill someone in the most effecicent way possible with a firearm, I'd use a bolt action .308 or a .30-06. That's a deer rifle.

A lot of people on this thread don't agree with us, but thank you for your support. Despite the hostility I've faced, it is obvious to me that we can all be conservatives and disagree on this one issue. I think there are a lot more issues that have more of a priority than this one. If this is the more important issue to any of the people on this thread, then I question their priorities.
