I tend to agree that "assult style" guns will not be the end of it, but I will pick and choose my battles. When they try to take away my winchester I'll come after them! But for now I'll sit in peace, taking comfort in the fact that..for now..it's only assult guns. But I'll be with you when they so much as glance at my .45.

Have you figured out what an illegal assault weapon is yet or are you still just kinda winging it?

Have you figured out who you're voting for President in 2004, or are you going to wing it? Maybe you'll sit the election out? Or would you vote for Hitlery?

If you don't call signing, after acknowledging the un-Constitutionality of it, the Campaign Finance Reform Act and signing into law the Patriot Act, and further enabling the Assault Weapons ban, all of this after swearing an oath to 'preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" evil, then what is your definition?
Bush may do some things right, but trying to take away the ability to defend myself and my loved one's against criminals, and the real and demonstrated heavy hand of the govt is such a fundamental wrong, that there is only one word for it: Evil.
Perhaps you need to look in your Webster's for the definition. Bush's actions on these and some other matters meet the definition.
But then, you already knew this, didn't you?

from your link.....
Bush has not vetoed a single spending bill during his three years in office. Instead, he has agreed to sign every piece of legislation crossing his desk, including a bloated farm bill and an intrusive education bill. In contrast, President Reagan vetoed 22 spending bills during his first three years in office.
........
do you have the spending bills that Reagan vetoed?
Ann is a big Reagan fan!
She told me his favorite magazine is Human Events.

I'm not voting for someone who passes a gun ban. That is not winging it. The ball is in Bush's court and in the court of "republicans" like you who have the option of letting Bush know that you dont think this will work out too well.
You might want to actually know what an illegal "assault weapon" is before you blow everything away on it. Its funny that you are arguing something that you dont understand despite the information right here on this thread.

By God, that's really terrible. Maybe we should vilify him like Saddam, Hitler, Stalin, and Lenin. Bush must be a Marxist. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Presidential spokesman Scott McClellan said, "The president supports the current law (the Clinton gun ban), and he supports reauthorization of the current law."I also predicted this.

Your question is a bit ahead of schedule. Do you have a point? The Clinton boogieman point perhaps?

Yes, you did. However, I'd like to hear Uncle Bill's answer, too, before I give my answer.

Yeah. If you're so bent out of shape that you don't want Bush as your President, name me one viable candidate that you'll be satisfied with.

Hey Laz where have you been? It's been a Long time. I hope all is well with you? I really didn't think Bush would do this and he may not if enough people show their outrage about it as in FReeping him. but GOOD......
But hey he signed CFR and that was an outrage!

Yeah. If you're so bent out of shape that you don't want Bush as your President, name me one viable candidate that you'll be satisfied with. Yeah? So what you are saying is you dont need to be able to argue the merits of the "assault ban" which you dont actually understand because you can just fear monger by threatening conservatives with Clinton.
If Bush is the only viable candidate then you better hope he doesnt pass a gun ban eh?

You haven't really answered ~any~ ones direct questions yet.
I'll predict you're about due for another stratigic withdrawal, just like last night.
Prove me wrong. Show us your lawyerly "integrity and honesty".

I will answer his question in due time. It's going to take some time to provide a list of all Bush's conservative accomplishments, however. I really would like to know who Uncle Bill wants to vote for in 2004, though.
