Yes it is count down time - because it is now less than 48 hours for the closing on the house in Virginia!!!!!!

And now I've really got to get my butt in gear - I'm expected in the Capitol in less than an hour and I haven't had a shower yet and I still have to go pick up the kid!!!!1

Prior to Dec.2001, FReepathons lasted for weeks.

Our shortest FReepathon was December 2001: 4 days, 8 hours.
Carpet bombing started on the first day.

The March 2002 Freepathon was 9 days.

The June 2002 FReepathon was 11 days.

The Oct. 2002 Freepathon was 12 days.

This one, at 8 days, was the second shortest. Remarkable considering the war.

The number on the Scoreboard is the actual number and it keeps changing.

For example, this morning it was 416 and right now it's 418.

Sometimes it goes up a little and sometimes down a little, but stays pretty constant with a slight upward tilt.

At the end of the last FReepathon (1/23/03), the number was 321.

At the end of the quarter (3/31/03), it was 330.

There were 1,221 onetime donors plus 416 monthly donors for a total of 1,637 donors.
