Anyone who defends redwoods is a hero to me. The trees are a National treasure and I see no reason to use something that takes so long to grow.
The problem with the treesitters is if they spent half the money they do in going around the country as celebrities and simply buy the trees they're trying to save, everyone would be happy.
The problem is, she's no hero. She trespassed, ignored the rule of law and then used the rule of law that she ignored for her own personal (well, her offsprings') personal gain.
Fine if you want to defend trees, you buy them. Far as I'm concerned, it's no different if they're cut down, blow down or burn down, they all die eventually.
