MSNBC is reporting 2 US soldiers of the 101rst were killed and 2 injured today.

The question is how? I caught the end of it. Were they disposing of munitions and something went off? Was it an attack? Grenade their Humvee hit?

In the absence of any hard facts you have to assume mechanical failure...it's amazing we haven't had MORE go down from mechanical failure...not saying I know anything, just that that's always what I assume when I hear reports of servicemen/women killed and there's no explanation ready.

Sad. :-(

PBS repeats this story just saying 2 died when a grenade went off. Can only assume its an accident. They also said another US soldier died in a car accident.
