BTW, it's very dark -- all I can see are a couple of small lights, most of the time. The sound works, though (and how!).

Ah Via Musicom? Indeed! Best Strat in Austin, for sure, maybe anywhere...
My daughter's coming on hard, though -- he'd better watch his back.

There's a Clintonite on with Chris Matthews....Sarah something. She was in the Not Mentionable administration.
Here's the new line. "Bush as always made it clear he disdains nation building, so it's clear they weren't prepared for the chaos which can result from overturning a regime".
They're misunderestimating him again.

That explains where Helen of Hagdom got her lame question this morning...

Gee whiz, what *nation* did the Clinton's build up? They are house wreckers! From Suzanne Coleman onwards. Not only do they wreck marriages and lives but whole nations!

they weren't prepared for the chaos which can result from overturning a regime". Is it me, or is this describing "chaos" making those that make the charge look silly?
I mean, the sight of people trundling this stuff down the street is funny and not violent. I'm of the camp that thinks some residual regime types are taking the mild looting as cover to destroy evidence, hence the burning buildings.
Anyway, her words ring hollow since that phase is already passing. I love it! They no sooner get their next set of talking points lined up and they're already obsolete!

Exactly..."spot on" as our allies across the pond would say.
And, keep in mind, these are the people who got their panties all wadded up when Chief Gates called the L.A. rioters "thugs". (Or was it Papa Bush who called them that?).

Brit's roundtable back on the story of CNN suppressing of stories on Iraq in order to keep their bureau open there. Today Jeff Birenbaum is on the panel and concurs they were wrong.
They had a nice in-depth analysis about the obligations of a news organization, ethics and such. Sounds like Brit might show "the kiss" that Combover gave the CNN reporter when he was leaving the U.S. I'm guessing by Brit's tease as he went to commercial.

I might say the lootings are "bad PR" but I sure as s**t would also say, right now, TO HELL WITH "PR"!
(sometimes that R morphs into a C for me)
(erm, and okay, maybe sometimes I get obssessed with InfoWars and DON'T say "the hell with PR")
(and free people taking revenge on bloodthirsty tyrants is a time-honored tradition -- this isn't looting -- this is actual "reality tv", and the libs can't stomach it :p)

If it had been Bill, the nose would be coming through my screen... If it had been Bill, something entirely different from a nose would be "coming through your screen".
Sorry. Had to take the open shot. ;-)

I love the English phrases. After listening to Jack Straw I go for hours wanting to say "My right good friend...".
Brit did close with the fond farewell al Douri gave to "Richard" from CNN. What a juxtaposition! Brit did say it may have just been a bit of bad luck for that scene to be taped the very day the revelations of buried stories was published.

MSNBC just reported that a body was found on the banks of a reservoir in Richmond, Calif. The body of a newborn child, umbilical cord attached, was found yesterday.
Speculation that it's Laci Peterson. God bless her and help find whoever did this.
