AVOIDING ARMAGEDDON
This timely series from Ted Turner Documentaries explores the explosive intersection between terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. Viewers are taken to some of the most dangerous places in the world to see dramatic human stories that convey the threats from nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, as well as the hope that the world can still choose to avoid Armageddon.

Do you think the show will be like that?
To: jd777
A Ted Turner series featuring Walter Cronkite is something I can easily miss. Facts will be slim and anti-American propaganda will be thick. I don't care for a fantasy guilt trip so I will let others get their blood pressure up.

I was trying to be funny about this very ominous sounding show after our victory in Iraq. The show is supposed to be very graphic and frightening. Full of foreboding. And it's coming from the "global government" crowd. I have no idea what it's all about. We'll see...

"Do you think the show will be like that?"I know you didn't ping me, but if you had, I'd have replied with: "You've got me confused... with somebody who actually gives a shift!"
These two self hating creeps who have made their wealth by trying to bring America down are two tireless turds, to be sure.
They are dastardly deceptive and have taken full advantage of American's tendancy of giving people the benefit of the doubt. Well... There is no doubt any longer!!! Armageddon my a$$!!! They can kiss my Armageddon!!!

To be fair, Ted Turner did finance "Gods and Generals". Did you see it?

Apparently Bill Clinton is a participant in this mini-series.
Drudge has been talking about this show tonight, and played an excerpt from either a recent Clinton speech or the PBS program itself.
Surprise, Clinton thinks "we" need to allow the UN a significant role in rebuidling an Iraq so "we" can build a more peaceful world, blah-blah-blah.
Mr. Clinton: WHAT'S THIS "WE" CRAP? You're a SPECTATOR, not a participant.

Ted Turner, Walter Cronkite and others listed have ALL to fear since they are not Christians. Indeed His coming will be soon. The events are screaming this fact. The sooner the better.

So what? No, didn't see it but heard it was good. For Ted Turner it's business. All he wants to do is make money. Ted Turner would sell his mother if there was a buyer. Ted Turner is about as anti-Christian as you can get and why he wants his name outfront as cohosting this series. For him this one is personal.

The godless socialist fools participating in this, and their ilk, are the only ones who need to fear Armageddon. Let them spin their delusions to alleviate their own worries. It will be for naught, for they will not be spared.

Here's the fool who called Christ a loser. Guess again, Ted. Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who will rule the earth after Satan's regime is brought down and relegated to the ash heap of history. You may be powerful and wealthy for now because you have been rewarded by Satan for doing his bidding and kissing his butt, but when the regime of Satan is no more, you'll end up just like the Ba'ath party loyalists who were rewarded by Saddam but are now either dead or running for their lives now that Saddam is out. So the loser is you, Ted, for it gains a man nothing to own the world and lose his soul. Your billions are as nothing compared to the treasure in Heaven you could have had but do not.

Well, I'm not a Christian either, and I'll be waiting for YOU in Hell... but that aside, what this gang of Scummunists is *really* perceiving (and from my lips to God's ears...) is the apocalypse of Lieberalism - and then they're psychologically projecting *that* into a TV-fantasy apocalypse more to their liking...

""Gods and Generals". Did you see it?"Nope. Turkey Turner totally turned me off when, during the corrupt clinton years, he made a big deal out of contributing a billion dollars to the UN. That after the "friendship games" during the Carter years and Jimma's boycott of the olympics.
The man and his money seem to have no redeeming social value, what so ever... including his ex-wife!!!
