Well he did go against the war and right into Saddam's pockets. I would want guns in my car as well for protection.

"Is this weird only to me?"No. What boggles my mind is that a liberal do-gooder has one set of values for himself and another for the rest of us. It's called Hypocrisy.

I can understand why wealthy and famous person would feel it wise to arm himself, by why would he need to carry more than one gun at a time?
To: Cathryn Crawford
Is Penn pro-Second Amendment? No, of course not. What a friggin' hypocrite. He needs a good b*tch slap.

The point is, he's not pro-second Amendment, yet he carries guns around in his car. He's a liberal who wants us to give up our guns, yet he obviously keeps a few with him.
The point is, he's a HYPOCRITE.
But, we already knew that, anyway.

Yes, I thought he was against guns. Oh, that's just for the little people. The ruling classes and the government will have guns. And, of course, the criminals.
To: yooper
Typical for Hollywood.

Penn gunsPenn spent 34 days in jail back in 1987 for punching out an amateur photog on the set of Colors. Why are Boxer and Feinstein letting him carry concealed weapons?
To: Cathryn Crawford
You see, like most other "celebrities", Sean Penn recognizes that his life is much more valuable than yours and mine. You and I should NOT have the right to protect ourselves and our families with guns. Mercy, no. But you can be sure that the bodyguards to the stars are armed with more than Crazy Straws and spitwads. Ask Rosie O'Donnell. Can you say "hypocrite"?

I know Penn made a horse's arse out of himself when he went to Baghdad and declared that everything was just peachy, but I was not aware that he was pro gun-control. Is there any source for this information?
To: Lancey Howard
I'll try to find it, because I know it's out there.

That's what I was getting ready to ask! I mean, a backup gun is fine but typically you are CARRYING it, along with your regular carry gun.
I'm sure it's JUST AS EASY for the average Joe to get a CCW permit in California as it is for Mr. Penn. Yessirree.

I'm pretty sure I've also heard that Penn is anti-gun.
