[Stay the course]

That was reported not long after they were taken prisoner, but every story keeps repeating the "wrong turn" version. Makes you wonder what else they're getting wrong if they can't get simple facts straight.

There was an early report that they had stopped to do work on some of the vehicles that had problems. They had fallen behind the others and were ambushed on the road. They didn't take a wrong turn. But the wrong turn story was so prevalent by then that everyone kept repeating it.
