The choice of the disparaging term
"Cannon Fodder" is equally puzzling. These troops were in a support unit. That's not the usual meaning of
"Cannon Fodder".
These women were doing an adequate job of being "supply clerks". There's nothing indecent, futile or dishonorable in that.
The author reveals he is a cad by implying that their service (and in one case death) were somehow dishonorable for themselves or for our armed forces.
Again, there is something odd in his entire presentation, something hidden and perhaps unspeakable. I just can't put my finger on it.

Sending females supply clerks into the warzone to pander to feminists and Democrats is dishonorable.

"Women and children first" does not refer to sending them to the front lines.

Hackworth tells a story about a cook stateside who, when the unit was shipping to Korea, HAD TO BE TOLD THAT HE COULD NOT GO. In the pre feminized military NO ONE could serve in lynch's job who did not meet MINIMAL, COMBAT DICTATED standards. What don't the fems understand about that?

It's called speaking the truth.
My guess is either you are under 50 or just plain stupid!

The author reveals he is a cad No, he reveals himself as chivalrous man. Sadly, a truly endangered species and one much more precious than the toads and insects our culture usually concerns itself with.
