Every Major News Org. in US has Misread North Korean Intentions a Faux Pas of Epic Proportions

The Washington Post, CNN, CNBC, FOX, and New York Times report that North Korea's now seams willing to negotiate with the US in a "multilateral setting." The news assessments may be correct even though reports regarding North Korean intentions are entirely misguided.

North Korea and US may very well indeed hold bilateral talks under the guise of multilateral negotiations. North Korea intentionally petitioned China to be involved in this process thereby providing a cover story so the US can save face. North Korea chose to involve China in facilitating negotiations because even were talks to occur sufficient time would elapse to enable North Korea to greatly expand its nuclear capability.

The stated goal of North Korea has and remains the "neutralization of US forces on the peninsula" with the expulsion of all foreign occupation forces and peaceful reunification. In some respects North Korea has become more dangerous, as it pragmatically moves closer to its goals, even though every major news organization has stated that resolution on US terms may be pending.
