I can't help but point out, however, that Al didn't even begin to attempt to answer this question:

Michelle Martin of ABC asked Sharpton about a correlation between poverty and out-of-wedlock births. Oddly, she seemed to believe that the latter caused the former. Sharpton gave a great answer, denouncing the Secretary of Education as a disgrace for praising Christian schools and ridiculing public schools.

When on the spot, change the question, I reckon.

as much as I "like" Sharpton, I fear he is sort of the Alan Keyes of the socialist primary.

Alan is undeniably the smartest, wittiest, most passionate and most conservative man to run for President in our lifetime.

And he always "won" the debates.

But everyone "knew" he didn't have a chance so no one would vote for him, or caucus for him.

Let's hope the D's are dumber than that and vote for big Al.
