But hey, I'm sure you'll have those horror stories any second now.

Nope. Not until you out yourself.

Here's a hint on Google: FR's post data base was wiped out around Christmas in 1999 or 2000, I don't remember which. In the old days, some naive FReepers would actually publish their real e-mail addresses here. There was a line item for it.

I don't have any links, but I know of some FReepers, a couple of whom are still active here, who've been outed and harrassed.

I wouldn't tell you who they are without their permission anyway.

So drop the demand. You won't publish your real name, or e-mail, so am I to assume you're a coward?

I was foolish enough to have an email address on my homepage a couple of years back. The constant stream of illiterate threats and virus attachments got old quick.
Freepmail combined with their fear of the ZOT is a great improvement.

Bizarre comment.
Apparently it never occured to you that you were getting supposedly "illiterate threats" because of your unconstitutional gun grabbing views.

In the first years of FR, before freepmail, many of us posted our e-mail addresses.
The worse 'threat' I can recall receiving from those days was perhaps 'eschoir' calling me a dirty little atheist. Big deal.

My point is that there are scores of people who know who I am on this board. Many of the people in the FR Network know me. I get together socially with lots of well known people on this board. I've posted pics of me, family and friends many times.

I've also raised my profile in my own community and have gotten on a few radar screens. Yeah, I've encountered a few idiots over the years (FR and elsewhere), but no biggie. There's nobody and nothing that I'm afraid of, except falling on the wrong side of God.

BTW, I'm not demanding anyone reveal any personal info on this thread. I'm just contending that mystery people who DO nothing but give their stupid opinions be treated as such. Ya'll could be anything from Arabs to Democratic operativse to just plain old statist dumbos. Nobody knows one way or the other, it's just simple logic to treat you as such.

As I said, guys like CJ, Roscoe and you are just "mystery meat".

During the Clinton admin, you would have been considered a potential terrorist, pure and simple.

"I fear for you in the next Democratic administration, particuarly if it's Clinton the Sequel." shriek the prophets of doom. We've seen this fantasy script reflected elsewhere in our culture ...

Inside the U.S. Senate ....

... Jar Jar Stoolie proposes granting emergency powers ...

... to Chancellor Bush, thereby dooming the Republic ...

... and paving the way for Darth Clinton ...

... to send in the stormtroopers ...

... and hassle the freaks.

Traffic tickets constitute a Constitutional crisis

LOL'

In my neighborhood maybe....

Chief justice gets ticket

It's not every day that the U.S. Supreme Court chief justice drives through Sidney on Interstate 88.

But it's even bigger news when he gets a speeding ticket.

Trooper James Gregory of the state police issued a ticket to Justice William Rehnquist..

Well gee Nostradamus, why don't you tell me what the stock market is going to do tommrow too? I didn't know the fate of the universe rested in your hands.

You and all the other Spanish Inquisition throwbacks here, do you really think your smirking wit will protect you the next time a leftist administration pronounces the next terrorist threat to be right-wingers, and puts a submachine gun in your face and tell you to come quietly?

It would be funny though to see your face when your citizenship got revoked. Other than Muslim countries, are there any nations left on earth where Mother Church runs the show, so you have a place to run to? Guess you were born a few hundred years too late.

Why should I? Just following the example you set. Oh wait, wit passes for facts...just like the leftists. Pining for Inquisition days no? Then you could just kill me quickly, with no pesky Constitution to bother with.
