National Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Directors has only one choice with regard to Dale Petroskey -- it must fire him. The sooner, the better.
Failure to do so would be an implicit endorsement of his outrageous decision to cancel an April 26-27 Cooperstown celebration of the movie "Bull Durham" because he disagrees with the stars' political views.
Please don't pretend to believe that his decision was anything but a political statement that exposed his roots in the Republican Party, which has a way of defending to the death your right to agree with its policies and positions.

LOL! The Left is hysterical on so many fronts.

We've got them on the run. Rush has been saying this for years: when the left's power is crumbling, they become very entertaining. Sounds as if the gentleman has his panties in a twist.

On this day of great golf history, I'd say SS is one teed off hypocrit.

LOL! Now there was a show of overwhelming force on a matter of critical import to the nation, eh?

Doesn't exactly have a grip on reality or his finger on the pulse of the people.

The truth might just be that Dale Petroskey has done them great favor .
At this moment in time SS is not held in very high regard.
A later endorsement might be better financially.
Just another spin.

Baseball really is in trouble if they need to celebrate something as irrelevent as 'Bull Durham.' I've never seen this flick but based on to the looney lefties' reaction it's must have a cult following akin to the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show.' Somehow I just don't see 'Bullscat Durin' ranking up there with Jackie Robinson's debut in the majors on the 'what's worth remembering about baseball' scale.

.. no doubt Petroskey got a fire storm of email, letters, and possibly phone calls about their idiotic decision to have Sarandon and Roberts in the first place.. Does Callen and Roberts for that matter think this decision was done in a vacuum?? It was due to the PEOPLE complaining..

Sarandon goes to show you once again that there are some people too stupid to know they are stupid. I'll bet the rest of FR could identify others i.e., Daschle, Pelosi, etc...
To: tridentine
I'm much happier not emailing this guy, and watching him get even angrier as he realizes that his power is nil.

It's funny that the libs don't seem to realize the
"PC Clock" has moved to the right, and what you say againist your country and president can actually be held againist you. Wow, what a concept: personal accountability!

What the hell is wrong with you?
Susan Sarandon was in a MOVIE for crying out loud.
And it was a BASEBALL movie.
And she played a baseball slut.
Heck, she has more right to be IN the HOF than Dale Petroskey has to be President of the HOF.

Time to update the Hollywood Blacklist!
Sarandon gets RDDB, can only work in B&W venue films about the exUSSR from here on out and is to get no further publicity except for her Obit whenever that is.
