Wait just a minute why were only the French and German leaders invited, and why if it was a celebration of Saint Petersburg, did these three talk what they would and would not accept about the future of Iraq. +++

I red that Bush and Blair was invited too. But refused to go because of busyness.

Bush and Blair were not invited to attend the meeting that the little 3 had to discuss what they would and would not accept for the future of Iraq.

As to whether an invitation was sent for celebration, sure hasn't been in our press, so have no clue if Bush and Blair were invited.

Now I could hardly expect Bush and Blair to go to any event if there is evidence that Putin was holding Saddam's hand and spying, providing weaponery to defeat the US & UK.

Time will tell what the evidence shows.
