My comments were made with the assumption that the charges are factual. If they are not, then of course we shouldn't take action against them.
They did try to undermine us though and if there's truth to these charges and I say pootie-poot just stepped in it.

Ivan, just as with the Iraqi people, we have nothing againt the Russian people.
Russia is hurting their own people, by engaging in these power plays.
The Russian people and Russia would have been much better off, both politically and economically, if they had taken the hand of the US in friendship, which Bush offered them.
